For gentleman with a bit of gravitas.. how about a beautifully made (and really not awfully expensive!) Men’s Nightshirt.. in either fine Egyptian cotton for summer wear or soft brushed cotton for the winter. Just £40
Alternatively, for “trendy Dad” how about a pair of these funky PJ bottoms.. great for sleeping in, for camping trips, putting the dog out (or coming down in the morning to make Mum a cup of tea!)
