Fathers Day, I admit, is a bit of an American thing and not always celebrated in the UK, but in the interests of equality perhaps we girls should make the effort! How about spoiling your other half or your dad on June 16th by giving him a gorgeous Egyptian cotton nightshirt. Or, if your particular man is not that traditional, treat him to a pair of PJ bottoms and let him lounge around in them all day long! Alternatively, just protest that you are from the UK and don’t hold any truck with such nonsense.. only don’t expect flowers, dinner out and an indulgent day when Mothering Sunday next comes around…
