FAQ
Frequently Asked
Where are your pyjamas made?
All our nightwear is designed in-house at The Pyjama House. The fabrics are made up for us in India by a wonderful company who make all the shirts and nightwear for many of the big names on Jermyn Street. Most of the making is done in India too, although some finishing is done in Bridlington in North Yorkshire.
Are your products all 100% cotton?
Yes! (With one exception.. our Ella Jersey Nightdress is made of viscose which is plant based fabric) None of our fabrics contain man-made fibres.
We are passionate about fabric.. we design our own fabrics and the thread count is extremely high which is why our nightwear is so hard wearing. Our brushed cotton is double brushed meaning that it doesn’t go all bobbly and is super snuggily both inside and out. Our fine Egyptian cotton is very strong and feels cool and soft to the touch.
I was given some PJs for Christmas .. can I exchange them?
Of course! Have a good look at the website to check what sizes are in stock or give me a call, then send them back in their original packaging and put your name and address clearly on the return so that I can turn around the exchange for you quickly.
I've made a mistake and need to return the item for a refund
We are a small company with narrow margins but we pride ourselves on our customer service so will bend over backwards to help in whatever way we can! That said please do send the item back unworn and undamaged and in it’s packet.. and don’t forget to say who you are so that we can refund the right person! The refund goes back against your original order on whatever card you paid with.
When will you be getting new stock?
Because we design our own fabrics, and because we don’t use air freight (for ecological reasons) our lead times are pretty long. New stock arrives only once or twice a year. In 2021 this means new stock arrives in February and we have a top up of brushed cotton fabrics arriving in August.
Do you sell wholesale?
No. Our items are only for sale at a few extremely good events like Spirit of Christmas (see the events page) and through this website (we sell a bit on Etsy too but not the whole range). You won’t find our products available on the High Street.
