The Pyjama House donned it’s “Mumpreneur” hat today and attended, as an exhibitor, the Female Founders Fair at Queen Mary’s School near Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
The aim of the events was to promote women in business, encourage school girls to become bosses of the future and to support Female Founders (like The Pyjama House) with their business ventures.
The day included a really inspiring talk by Carley Jones, CEO of Kettlebell Kitchen (and if you haven’t heard of them already, you definitely will soon!) and a question and answer session with inspiring women in business and the arts. There was then a great opportunity to network and sample products from all of the companies exhibiting.
The Female Founders Fair is the brainchild of 21 year old Eleanor Hudson, herself still a student at University. (She and her sisters have had plenty of our PJ bottoms in the past as her Mum was one of my earliest customers!
We look forward to following her career as it develops and to more Female Founders Fairs in the future! If you’d like to find out more about these fairs and to visit one in the future, or to see who else was exhibiting at the event, visit www.femalefoundersfair.com
